DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

As a filmmaker, I’m interested in abstract narratives and in the possibility of telling stories through images alone. I’m exploring forms of storytelling that do not necessarily follow a conventional narrative structure, but instead unfold through association, symbolism, rhythm and visual poetry.

I’m particularly interested in how film can induce different psychological and emotional states in an audience. Rather than guiding the viewer towards one fixed interpretation, I want to create an experience that can be felt intuitively and personally. Repetition, cycles, loops and journeys are recurring elements in my work, reflecting an interest in transformation and the ways in which meaning can shift through movement and time.

Symbolism plays an important role in this process. I’m drawn to imagery that feels primal; forms and gestures that can communicate beneath language and connect with something instinctive or collective. For me, filmmaking is ultimately a way of creating these visual encounters: building atmospheres where narrative emerges through sensation, association and the space between images.
